My Research Interests:

I am interested in the development of cell-based therapies and regenerative medicine. I’m fascinated and equally motivated by idea that our bodies can be the source of our own therapy and with some intervention, hold great regenerative power. I’m also particularly interested in neurodegenerative diseases because the brain is the next frontier and there is still so much more to learn.

Why I'm excited to study aging:

I enjoy studying aging because it is truly a black box that we’re beginning to understand. Aging is the greatest risk-factor for many diseases and I think this makes the discipline something all scientists in the biomedical field should study. All in all, I’m excited to study aging because it’s expanding my area of thinking and making me a better thinker.

My future goals:

Chew gum and run a lab.

Awards and Honors:
